PADI - Open Water Course

Verde

Recommended Posts

I'm looking for suggestions for a PADI Open Water Course either on a Carribean Cruise or at a Carribean resort. I've got the class and pool requirements done and just need to be certified on the openwater dives. Any information would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Dennis

You will need to do 4 checkout dives, this means you will have to do 2 of the dives in 1 port and the other 2 in another port. Kinda risky, although that it how I did it. I would contact the dive shops before hand so they can have someone with an instructor cert for your dives. I would also not schedule my cert dives at ports that have a high risk of being missed. Coz, Roatan, Costa Maya are usually safe bets. GC and Belize usually are not a problem but ships occasionally cannot get to tender at these 2 ports.
