Cat 11 and Cat 12

You'e got quite an upgrade, I think! We only book Cat 12s because of our handicapped DD. We need the tub (whirlpool) and extra space to park her travel wheelchair. In a Cat 12, there's room to walk around her chair and anything else on the floor! The balcony is more secluded and you are lower on the ship; therefore, closer to the water. It's beautiful!

The difference between cat 11 and cat 12 suites vary from ship to ship. On Fantasy class ships, it's a HUGE jump. Other classes of ships, it's still a pretty big jump, but not has big of a difference in rooms.

A quick look at the OPs Siggie leads to the Valor.

On a Conquest class ship, the Cat 12s are just wider versions of the Cat 11s. They layout and amenities are about the same. Of course with a wider cabin comes a longer balcony. Not that it matters in your case, but the sofa in a Cat 12 is a "double" sofa bed.

I am sailing on the Fantasy on a Cat. 12. What kinds of differences are the catagory 12? Just curious.
