jmd2189 Posted August 21, 2006 #1 Share Posted August 21, 2006 What is a good place to go/shore excursion around or in San Juan, PR that would be for no more than 5-6 hours in port? Let me know good and also things to avoid on the island as well. Advice appreciated!
countryside Posted August 22, 2006 #2 Share Posted August 22, 2006 If you like to zip on a little rum every once in awhile, you might like to stop in Old San Juan by pier # 2 and visit their store and have a complimentary drink. This way you will see and taste what the locals drink. After that what you want to do is to walk around the old city and visit one of the forts. Another day visit the rain forest. Another day visit the Caverns and Observatory and if you are daring how about a night kayak of the biobay. Jim B Posted August 22, 2006 #3 Share Posted August 22, 2006 I just receive a email from Debbie of Legends of Puerto Rico telling me that she is looking at a new additional tour to add to what they offer. It is going to be called "Country Side". Guess it will be our tour outside of San Juan so you can see the country. You might contact her for more information.
