When you go to a restaurant in the Caymans is the food in US funds??

All the restaurants we visited were in Cayman dollars. You can just about figure that US is going to be about 20% (or so) higher. They also (almost always) add on a 15% tip on the ticket...so watch this so you don't double tip. So add up what you want, and then figure around 35% more, and you've got what you'll be spending...or in the ballpark.

 

You can always ask them what your bill will be in USD...in fact, many of the restaurant did this for us without asking.
