Tropical Depression

Anybody else watching the Atlantic?

 

 

Tropical storm warnings remain in effect for the Cape Verde Islands as the fourth tropical depression of the Atlantic season passes by to the south. This depression is centered about 140 miles S of the Cape Verde Islands. This is likely to become the fourth named storm of the season and the name would be Debby. This system should track to the west-northwest and pose no immediate problems to anything other then the Cape Verde Islands

We are cruising Boston to Bermuda, August 27......Hopefully tropical depression Debby won't head in our direction, we have been lucky the last 3cruises in late August...

We too have had great weather at the end of August and hope it continues!! Have you golfed in Bermuda? If so, do you have a course recommendation? I have researched alot on the Bermuda boards, they were very helpful. Thanks.

My only problem with tropical depressions is, when I'm not in the tropics...I'm depressed.;)

Also sailing on 8/27 but on the Crown. Been through several tropical storms over the years to Bermuda. Just remember you are on vacation and make the most of it. If you're worried about "bumpy" seas, get the patch from your Dr. before sailing.
