South Pacific Weather in March

Hi All

We are cruising on the Pacific Star in March to the South Pacific. Has anyone travelled in March? Can you tell me what the weather is like and what sort of clothes to wear?

Not sure what to pack!

It'll be hot and humid - particularly in Vila.

Oh yeah, we got caught in a tropical shower at Pentecoste. Came back to the ship wetter than if we'd been swimming!

I went in March.We had great weather.Most of the time it was nice and sunny, it didn't rain very much, I can only remember it raining in the afternoon when we were at the Isle of the Pines.It was a bit humid at Port Vila and Wala.I think it was a great time to go and would go on another cruise around the same time again (Feb/March)

Pack summer clothes to wear, and make sure you take a hat and sunscreen.

Thanks everyone. That will be very useful. I assume that even if we get showers, it won't be cold so maybe just an umbrella and summer clothes?

You should be fine with those. :) If anything the rain will just make it more humid rather than colder.
