Pictures by the ship photographer

Does anyone know if the ships keep the pictures they take of you for any length of time or do they get rid of them as soon as the cruise ends? Didn't get the formal night pictures on board and now would like to have them. We took some of our own but they weren't as good when we printed them. How would i find out if they do have them? Thanks for any replies.

I have seen the photographer throw away pictures that we did not want directly into the trash can near the cash register as we were paying for those we wanted. :confused:

 

Of course it could have been that the pics he discarded were freightening others away and were generally just bad for business.:o

Most of them are digital now and it is possible they might keep the file on their computer for a short time. I would contact them right away.
