Booking a Cruise while on a Cruise???

I have read somewhere about advantages/disadvantages of booking a cruise while on a cruise, :confused: but I can't seem to find it any where. Could someone please tell me the advantages/disadvantages of this? Ship Credit? Lower price?

Not available to my knowledge on Carnival. Is on RCCL etc. and believe the direct savings was $200 on the 7 day or better.

Princess does that as well, but I don't believe Carnival offers it.

Carnival did offer Liberty Mediterranean cruisers a book-while-on-board for the new Carnival Freedom. I passed on the offer, but got the same deal through my PVP 2 weeks after returning home.

Now there is a great idea. I think a lot of people would book while on a cruise. Who wants there cruise to end while you are on a cruise
