Things to do in Cayman with family (3 y.o. and 10 month old)

Hi, just wondering if anyone has any suggestions for things to do at Cayman with little kids ---- we'll be going on the Rhapsody 9/3 with myself and my wife, our 2 sons (3 y.o. and 10 month old), and my mother. Does the submarine tour allow little ones --- ?? And the stingray swim? We'd love to snorkle, but with little ones, we'll probably have to pass.

I just answered your Jamaica question too! We cruised with grandkids 3, 4, 5 & 5 on your route. In Grand Cayman we went on Captain Marvin's Stingray and snorkel tour. None of the kids snorkeled or swam with the rays, but they had a blast on the boat nevertheless. It was a little cool and choppy that day, otherwise I think they would have stayed in the water, at least.

We were lucky enough to have 8 adults along, so just took turns staying on the boat with the kids. Obviously a 10-month-old is not going to snorkel or swim with dolphins, but the 3-year-old would probably like the boat ride and might enjoy the water if it's warm and fairly calm. I think it's pretty iffy that he will be able to actually snorkel at 3, but it may be possible with practice at home in the tub.

We didn't do the submarine tour so I can't comment on that. I'd be afraid the baby might get restless and that it might be confining.

When our kids were 1 1/2 and 3, we did the 1/2 sub excursion and they loved it. The scuba guy went out and fed the fish so they swarmed the windows. We were able to go up top for a bit and swim in the water. Then we went to 7 mb, had lunch and played in the sand and ocean. That was a great day!
