Priority club

I read earlier this year in a Carnival cruise magazine that they were testing a paid priority club offer on a trial basis. My agent never heard of a follow up on how it went. I thought that would be neat to purchase instead of waiting for 10 cruises.

I had heard talk about this...but nothing (that I know of) has come of it.

In a way, the Carnival Vacation Club is a way to "buy" the priority perks of VIP Check In and Debarkation...along with some other perks. You end up paying a little more for each cruise ~ than if you booked it with a TA (and you have to pay a minimum of $3,500.00 up front) BUT it is still a lot cheaper than paying for a Cat 11 or Cat 12. And you get the priviledges for years even after you have used your points and are paying cash for the cruises.

So ideally, by the time your CVC perks expire...you have 10 cruises under your belt and get the Platinum perks.
