PoH Transfer from airport-best choice?

I see people taking varieties of methods to get from the airport to the pier.

Between NCL's service ($25 a person each way?), taxi or limo; which ones do you guys recommend? Seems the taxi version can have you schlepping your bag all over a pier.

If you pick NCL, how often do the shuttles leave the airport for the ship?

Our cruise is right around the corner (9/11!) and we're trying to organize everything!

We have used a taxi each time. It is very easy and usually comes out to about $15 plus tip. Taxis are plentiful at the airport. They drop you off right by where you line up to check your bags at the cruise terminal.

On the return to the airport, you may have to wait in line awhile for a taxi, but they try to move this along as quickly as possible. Several times we have been put in a larger van type vehicle that charges a flat fee per person.

I believe a taxi is a bit quicker than waiting for the large buses NCL uses to fill up.

Thank you! We'd been debating the cab thing. We thought someone here had said the cab dropped them a very long way away from the terminal for the ship.

This clarification is just what we needed! Sooner we're on the boat the better!

No. The cab drops you off right in front of the cruise terminal at the Aloha Tower. You'll have about a 25' walk from the cab to the pax terminal.

The passenger terminal is the large building along the left edge of the picture. There is a street at the other end of the terminal where the cab will drop you off; there will be porters just a very short distance from where the cab leaves you.
