Buy a new pair of Sneakers

I usually wear flip flops... not to dinner "of course". But we tend to buy a new pair of sneakers a few weeks before a cruise for traveling and walking around the port....

 

Its almost time to go shopping for another pair :D :D :D

Well, I went out and bought a new pair of comfy sneakers yesterday, going to wear them to work the next week or so to break them in. Ready for some walking in the Caribbean.

I'm different, I guess. I always take a nice comfy worn-in pair of sneakers for walking around in ports. I really dislike new shoes, especially if I know I'll be doing a lot of walking. But yes, you'll see LOTS of brand new sneakers on a cruise.:D

If you buy Nike they're comfortable right out of the box. Or at least that's my experience over the last 30 years.

 

Since we just went 5 months ago I've been able to avoid wearing those until this week so they're still shiny new.
