VaBeachCruisers897 Posted September 4, 2006 #1 Share Posted September 4, 2006 I usually wear flip flops... not to dinner "of course". But we tend to buy a new pair of sneakers a few weeks before a cruise for traveling and walking around the port.... Its almost time to go shopping for another pair :D :D :D
Sgrgirl20 Posted September 5, 2006 #2 Share Posted September 5, 2006 Well, I went out and bought a new pair of comfy sneakers yesterday, going to wear them to work the next week or so to break them in. Ready for some walking in the Caribbean.

Cotton Posted September 11, 2006 #7 Share Posted September 11, 2006 I'm different, I guess. I always take a nice comfy worn-in pair of sneakers for walking around in ports. I really dislike new shoes, especially if I know I'll be doing a lot of walking. But yes, you'll see LOTS of brand new sneakers on a cruise.:D
codewize Posted September 21, 2006 #8 Share Posted September 21, 2006 I thought I was the only one. If you buy Nike they're comfortable right out of the box. Or at least that's my experience over the last 30 years. Since we just went 5 months ago I've been able to avoid wearing those until this week so they're still shiny new.
