Progress Posted September 6, 2006 #2 Share Posted September 6, 2006 what are the best beaches for snorkeling and swimming are there any clothing optional beaches All beaches are public owned. The best beaches on the island is located in Reduit and Pigeon Island it aprox 1/2 hour drive on the northen part of the island depending on the flow of traffic. You can also do Anse Cochon on the west coast via a half day tour organise with one of the agents on the island. Snockelling and Scuba diving can be done with one of these trips. It's amazing how much there is to experience under the water world on this prestigous island of St. Lucia. There is so much to be discovered. You can halla a well known tour guide by the name of John on the island he will be more than happy to assist you in having a fun free day on the island his contact number is 758-450-4525. reklawr Posted September 10, 2006 #3 Share Posted September 10, 2006 I had read an old post that Reduit beach has jet ski rentals. Can anyone confirm that still have jet skis rentals at Reduit?
Caribbean Fun Posted October 10, 2006 #4 Share Posted October 10, 2006 Jet skis on Reduit? I guess I won't be going to that beach then!
Progress Posted October 10, 2006 #5 Share Posted October 10, 2006 The bathing area is marked to prevent the jet skies from making contact with persons that are swimming or bathing. Police men are on on patrol on this beach as well. This beach is one of the best beaches and most popular on the island. There are at least 10 resorts or more located in this area and this is the beach their guest uses. The Spinakas Restaurant is located to the very front of the beach. Very beautiful place won't regreat it if you do make a trip up there. For more information you can contact John on the island tel. 758-450-4525.
