Weather on Current QM2 Ebound Crossing

Hello,

 

If anyone is currently onboard QM2 on the e/bound crossing to the UK I would be very grateful if you could post on how the weather has been so far on this crossing & also the sea conditions?

 

I am curious re this as I board QE2 on Wednesday for the w/bound crossing to the US at the start of the US & Canada cruise.

Many thanks Pincus, I just wondered if anyone could give me a first hand report of overall weather conditions onboard the crossing on QM2.

 

I am on QE2 this week not QM2 - having tried QM2 last year on a crossing I much prefer QE2!!!!!

Just had an e-mail from a friend aboard QM today. There are swells and some movement being felt - no one allowed out on deck today. I looked at the webcam they don't look too bad - for now anway.

Looks like you could have a couple of lively days, depending how south they sail.

You may want to keep an eye out for hurricane Florence which is to hit near Bermuda on Monday and then continue North/ Northeast. This is a very large system, so seas will be affected far far from the eye itself.

Remember onboard QE2 your on the best placed ship to experience the North Atlantic in her good or bad moods, If she does decide to play up, just sit back and marvel at the experience! its the stuff of Dinner conversations for years to come, lm sure we are both telling the stories still of our last QE2 encounter.
