NCL POA: Classic or Super Day bike tour with Downhill on Maui

We are taking the NCL POA in October, arriving Maui 0800 on Friday, departing 1800 (6 pm) on Sat. We are thinking of driving the Road to Hana on Fri and taking a bike tour on Sat. We always book it on our own rather than through the ship. We are considering the Super Day tour which starts about 7:30 am and returns about 1600 (4 PM), but wonder about the timing. The Classic day leaves at 6:30 am and returns about 1500 (3 PM). We'd really prefer the Super Day schedule, but wonder if we have to be on board by 1700 (5 PM), if this is cutting it too short. Has anyone taken the Super Day ride and if so, did you have plenty of time to make it back to the ship on time? We don't want to end up missing the ship! We are open to other suggestions for excursions on Maui as well. Thanks!
