Just back from the Crown . First the Good. Bermuda is beautifull. We had great weather and loved all the ports. This our 10th cruise , the third on Norwegian. The cadin was very clean. Had a category C outside stateroom. Our Cabin Steward was excellent. Most of the staff on the ship was very friendly and helpfull. Getting on went quickly were on in 20 minutes. Got there about 12:00. Dining was a dissapointment. Chose Norwegian because like to sit at a table for 2, In the main dining room the tables for 2 are one inch from tables for 4. You are really sitting at tables for 6. Tried going when the dining room was half empty but were still seated at table with the groups of 4. Ate at the pasta Cafe it was very nice. Only 3 of the 20 tables were taken. People came in and were told they couldn't eat there without reservations. Saw many arguments while we were there from upset people who were denied reservations and saw the restaurant almost empty. Tried to get reservations for The other alternative restauants but by 9 in the morning all the reservations were gone. Heard many people complaining about the fact you couldn't get reservations. Food was okay not great. Food on Princess is much better. Buffet food was sometimes cold and seemed to have been sitting for a long time. The Pool area was always crowded on sea days. there was never anywhere to sit. By 9 in the morning all the chairs were covered with towels. Some of the people claimed the chairs and then left for several hours. Saw two people almost get into a pysical fight over chairs. By the last day the workers were removing towels to allow people to sit.Overall We loved Bermuda and tried to overlook the negative. Ate on Bermuda twice to avoid the dining room. Would go back to Bermuda but will try another cruise line. Happy Sailing!

HI Alex

thanks for getting your review on CC so quickly. Just a couple questions for you we sail in a month!

Did you use the dine ashore coupons in Bermuda, if so where and how was it? What shore excursions did you try or where did you venture in Bermuda on your own? Entertainment on Crown, anything worth making plans for? Seems a shame to have that empty pasta cafe, I guess we will have to plan ahead but having to plan is why we wanted freestyle dining. Is the main restaurant open for lunch on embarkation day or only buffet? Any secret spots on the ship you discovered?

Thanks again for sharing your cruise with all of us waiting to sail.

Thanks Alex,

For posting a short and sweet review. Enjoyed and appreciate your observations. The pool area in the Sea was crowded also, but we saw no physical contact! Thanks again, and will look forward to hearing more if you have the time.

The main resturant is normally open unti 2 or 2;30 on the day you get on the ship...

Ate at the Frog and Onion in Kings Warf with our dine ashore program it was very good. Heard the Carriage House in Saint George also good. Ate at White Horse Tavern in Saint George. Good pub food and nice atmoshere. Didn't take any excursions. Used buses went to Horeshoe Bay, Saint Catherine Beach and Tobacco Bay. All great. Have done excursions in the past but is easy to see Bermuda on your own. Main dining room always open for lunch even on port days. But it bothered me that even if the room was nearly empty everyone was seated together in one section. Have a great trip
