Just got back from a private Peggy's Cove/ Halifax City Tour 9/13 with Jonathan Duru at http://www.yourcab.ca. He was terrific. It was a combined tour that the Norwegian Dawn doesn't even offer and at a great price . I highly recommend Jonathan. He is personable and chock full of insight and knowledge about Halifax. He has lived there for 21 years. He took us (5 of us) to places that ship excursions can't reach. If you're going soon, tell him that Robert and Carlo sent you.

I heard he was good too, but I couldn't get ahold of him. I went with a New Zealander: Greg from Kiwi Kaboodle. He also did a fantastic tour of Halifax & Peggy's Cove, and gave us plenty of optional extras at no extra cost. He kept us laughing and well-informed the whole time.
