love2travel2006 Posted September 20, 2006 #1 Share Posted September 20, 2006 We are sailing on the Miracle in October and currently have a inside cabin on the Empress Deck. However, I am considering switching to an ocean-view cabin on the Riviera Deck which is directly below the casino. Has anyone ever stayed in this area on the ship, and if so, what was your experience, did you hear a lot of noise, etc?
crazidude1400 Posted September 21, 2006 #2 Share Posted September 21, 2006 From what I have read on these boards, Carnival did a good side insulating the miracle class ships. So, you *technically* should not hear any noise.
serene56 Posted September 21, 2006 #3 Share Posted September 21, 2006 Dude is soo correct. We had 1211 on the Legend= Perfect location--walk out the door and there is the elevator. Heard nothing while in the cabin but heard "stuff" once the door was opened.

serene56 Posted September 22, 2006 #6 Share Posted September 22, 2006 When on the Miracle--and you get a chance-- stand outside the disco late one night-- you wont hear a thing--then go through the revolving doors and wow what a sound difference. Notice that the bottom floor of the disco is located on the Riveria deck. We stood outside quite a few nights and heard nothing at all.
