caribbean dreams Posted September 21, 2006 #2 Share Posted September 21, 2006 Yes, we did it last month, when you get off the tender walk to your right, you will see some little huts to your left, these are local operators offices. We had no idea what we wanted to do until we arrived on shore, after reading all the different excursions the locals had to offer, we finally picked the cave tubing. It was great, there was only 12 in our group, on the way we passed the Ships group and they had over 60 people. After the cave tubing the guide took us to a beautiful hotel in the rainforest hotel for drinks and snacks, the total cost was $45pp 1/2 price of what the ships excursion costs. We were back in plenty of time to do a little shopping in town.
Rigger Posted September 23, 2006 #3 Share Posted September 23, 2006 Hi, The dock area of Belize City has a lot of people trying to sell tours. You shouldn't have any trouble getting something. You may however take a look at finding something on-line and book ahead. There are a lot of things you can find on the web and then you have no worries!
