Druke I Posted July 12, 2004 #2 Share Posted July 12, 2004 The brochure will give you a good idea of on-board activities. We found the food on Disney Magic to be quite good.

MartiniMama Posted July 13, 2004 #4 Share Posted July 13, 2004 It's AWESOME....my son's words...but I concur. Everything Disney does is pretty darn good. The food was very good, the waiters were incredible -- magic tricks at dinner, every staff person said hello w/a smile, the room was very comfortable. Disney's Castaway Cay is incredible!!! They even have child care area on the beach -- you can drop the kids and go to the adult area to get a message. The boat docks at their own pier so you just walk down a gangplank at your convenience. Beautiful island!! One bar area is adult only after 11pm -- the piano bar was great, really enjoyed that. The children's play area was fantastic --- the shows were all disney so keep that in mind. I enjoyed the rotating dining rooms -- different room/same servers each night. No casino...DH didn't like that! :)
MartiniMama Posted July 13, 2004 #5 Share Posted July 13, 2004 I would add that unless you have kids clamoring to go on the Disney Cruise, I'm not sure it's worth the high price.... it was very expensive!!! I would also add that disembarking was unbelievably easy...we went to the restaurant for breakfast and then walked off ... no crowds, no lines, no pushing. It was really amazing compared to Carnival and RCCL. I'd give Disney big thumbs up for that!!! The Cruise Director told us it would be like that but we didn't believe her until we saw it. It was great...just wish the other cruise lines could get their acts together. Carnival is the worst!!
