transportation from Tampa airport to port for 16 people

Carnival wants $37 for shuttle to and from airport to port. I will be with 16 other people one in a wheelchair. Can we get there and back cheaper using an airport shuttle? How hard are they to get. We will be arriving in Tampa about 11:30 am the day of departure. thanks

I would just get a few taxis. Its about $22.00 from airport to Port. We fit 7 with loads of luggage last time we went, and paid $22.00 for all of us each way. Much cheaper than shuttle. No problem getting taxis at airport or cruise port on the way back. Airport is about 7 or 8 miles I believe from port.
