cruisemom101 Posted September 25, 2006 #1 Share Posted September 25, 2006  Help! I'm a first timer and would like to know where you keep your towels, shoes, shirts, cameras, etc. while on the beach or snorkeling. Do you rent lockers at the beach or at the docks? Thanks. fkfad Posted September 25, 2006 #2 Share Posted September 25, 2006 When we snorkel, we carry our credit card, some cash, and our IDs in the pocket of my husband's swimming trunks. The pocket closes with velcro so we don't worry about the stuff falling out. We carry a disposable, underwater camera with us to take pictures under water. The rest of our stuff we leave on the beach...if someone wants to take my towel or my sunscreen they can have it. We haven't had any problems...other than some wet money. dmk446 Posted September 25, 2006 #4 Share Posted September 25, 2006 If you click on the CC "Store" you can get a plastic waterproof safe to wear while you swim to carry your ID, $, etc., use a twist tie to lock down the release for extra safety. It's small enough not to interfer with your water activites and you can wear it around your neck.
North Carolina Cruiser Posted September 26, 2006 #5 Share Posted September 26, 2006 Try wallet etc in a zip lock bag in your pocket, no wet money:)
madisonswims Posted September 28, 2006 #6 Share Posted September 28, 2006 You could also consider purchasing a Witz waterproof case to keep your items in. The link is: http://www.witzprod.com/witzprod/product.cfm.
