Just Booked

I just hope that we have enough time, ship should be in a 7, Captain Marvins says no problem, we are in CC class so that should give us priority tendering? I am soooo looking forward to this, we have been to grand cayman before, but we took a taxi drivers advice about a beach to snorkel off of, and it was a hugh mistake. There were about 300 people on the beach from various cruise ships and not a fish in site.

You should be fine. Ruth and Joan at CM's know their stuff. It's just a short walk down to their place from the port area.

7MB isn't the greatest at all for snorkeling. We stayed at a condo there, so we didn't have to worry about a ton of tourists, but there still weren't any fish (that we saw). You really need to do an excursion, or get to a more remote area...at least IMO.

If you are going to get priority tendering, then you have no worries. I'd be down in the area and get on one of the first tenders. If your ship is delayed for some reason, CM's will work with you. The day we were in there (to get directions to drive to their dock), there was a storm coming in, and all the ships were leaving early. They knew this and were busy making changes for the customers who were in the shop. They really are nice people, and will make sure you have a great time. :)

I booked with Captian Marvin and I can't wait either. This is our first cruise and and we leave in 3 days. I have read really good reviews about them and am very excited.

You'll have so much fun. The first time we used CM's, we were on a cruise. We used them again this past January when we were there for the week. The day we went to Stingray Sandbar, we were the only boat there. It was really amazing! But one boat, or ten, you'll have a good time with them. I think there were 15-20 people on our tours. The first time we were there, we saw a couple of those double-decker boats and there had to be a 100 or more people on each.

There's a nice little gift shop right next door to CM's. I found some really neat Xmas ornaments there (if you're looking for that sort of thing). :)
