jenr Posted July 12, 2004 #1 Share Posted July 12, 2004 I have noticed in several posts that it seems Carnival is sending the Sail & Sign cards in the mail with the documents....is this true? Last time we sailed with Carnival we got them at the ship, but it has been several years. Also how far in advance do they send the documents...we sail 9/26 and booked directly through Carnival. Thanks much
cruisinonmymind Posted July 12, 2004 #2 Share Posted July 12, 2004 We recvd our docs a couple of weeks ago for our July 24th sailing. There is a page that says Sign and Sail, but it is for filling out your credit card info. It is not the actual sign and sail card. You won't get that until you actually board the ship. imsulin Posted July 12, 2004 #3 Share Posted July 12, 2004 Right. you won't get your actual card until you board, because they have to imprint your picture on it. All you get is the application to fill in your CC info.
Cotton Posted July 13, 2004 #4 Share Posted July 13, 2004 Hi Jenr. I think your confusion may lie in the fact that some folks refer to the S&S FORM in your docs as the S&S CARD. The form is just a page in the doc booklet. As above, your actual S&S card will be issued while boarding the ship. As for your other question, most folks receive their docs anywhere from one to three weeks prior to the cruise.
