There's a couple threads about dancing on Grandeur. According to some Compasses that I received from a wonderful CC lady who sailed Grandeur back on July 21, there's pretty much a daily line dance or latin dance class by the pool during the afternoon. I can't wait to get onboard and do a little ballroom dancing myself. I can live without the line dances, but love ballroom. Hope this helps some. There's a ballroom dance thread if you're interested, http://boards.cruisecritic.com/showthread.php?t=133289&page=1&pp=25, it's in the fun stuff-cruise rituals section.

Let's talk DANCING!! We take our own music, find a quiet afternoon location aboard and have a pleasant time 'Boat Dancing'!! We usually make some very nice acquaintances as a bonus.

As 'seniors', we do not much care for the disco type 'music' provided for dancing after dinner - we much prefer our ‘old fashioned’ dancing with some 'fast' ones every once in awhile and yes, even a latin. (Sure, we can still jitterbug, but only in a limited manner and for a short while – certainly not all night like we did 40 years ago!!) Dancing is a wonderful way to pass an 'at sea' afternoon before dinner. AND moonlight dancing on the balcony to romantic tunes is simply GREAT!! ;) Oh, and thanks to APPLE for making an iPOD I can load with my favorite tracks (presently over 7000 tracks and only 1/2 full - all classified by type & style) in a package smaller than a Cig Pack and AltecLansing for making the IM-7 to make that iPOD music available! Am I the only one?? (Or more correctly – are we the only couple doing this when we cruise??) And it will certainly happen again on our next cruise - Grandeur - bringing her back to New Orleans!!! :D
