DOC DAY IS HERE for the 30th My Doc's finally arrived just about 2 weeks b4 cruising, 1 question to all.

Me and my partner are chaperoning 2 19yr old kids, I do know that each must be accompanied by an adult but yet each person has to have their own sail card(backed by a CC), here's the question......... how do we put a block on a card for purchases when the 1 adult on the booking ticket is with the 1 underage and the same with the other cabin, even though both 19 yr olds will be staying in same cabin.........did ya catch that-hope I didn't lose ya.

ANY HELP WOULD BE GRATEFUL!!!!!

well, gsully...

quite honestly...........you 'did' lose me...

but that's not Your fault.........LOL

Let me see.....

ok....I have read here that you can tell them at the Purser's Desk (Information Desk) on board about any limits or blocks you want on the SScard..

I am not sure if the procedure would be different (or more difficult) using a credit card..

Call Carnival...

and Good Luck!

1 Adult is with 1 child, while the same set-up is in the other cabin next door, thats the way it is on the sail&sign cards, but the kids want to sleep in the same cabin. But both of our credit cards(same account) will be used for each cabin, you get it now?

Yes the 18 yr. olds can gamble. Mine are 19 and can't wait, heaven help me.

They close the casino when in port but open while at sea.

Have a great cruise!! Our kids might meet on this one.

For the arcades---you can buy tokens or you can use your sign and sail card. (URGH) My kids never spent any time in there and they are huge video game players at home.

i am not so sure you want to tell the purser the kids are staying alone...if they are not YOUR kids you may be breaking their rule that says:

How old do you have to be to travel alone?spacer.gifGuests are required to be 21 years old (on embarkation day) to travel. Guests under the age of 21 must be accompanied in the same stateroom by a parent or guardian 25 or older. The exceptions Carnival will make to this policy are:

1) Parents that are traveling with their children in different staterooms. The bookings must be cross-referenced and documented that they are parents and children traveling together.

It sure is a sticky mess...i hope they will let you put restrictions on the cards.

I am assuming these kids don't have the cash to put up first?

Thanks for the info Beth-- They certainly don't have the money for deposit--since the amount of money they will prob. bring would be the amount of deposit(200-300 dollars)-- hope all will go OK

Not if its in your luggage you hand to the porters. Do not take the chance and carry it on. Also. put it in a bag incase it breaks. hate to have all that wet clothes on a cruise.
