Both the Queen Mary 2 and the Queen Elizabeth 2 are due to dock in Ft. Lauderdale at 07:00am on November 25. Should be a great photo op!:):)

That will be repeated on January 10, 2007, when both ships sail in tandem on their world cruises. I will be making the trek around the globe on QE2.

BUT In my experience, getting into the pier area has been nearly impossible since 911. You used to be able to get in and go up in the parking towers. Getting pictures might be available from the beach on the north side of the harbor entrance. OR you have to know someone in the high rises that line the channel.
