hello getting married on the liberty on Jan 9....just wondering for any of you that ordered DJ's did you bring a cd with the song you wanted to dance to for "first dance" and how did your receptions go? anybody out there done this on the liberty?

I am also getting married on Liberty, April 22, 2007. We are having the luncheon. we have around 100 people sailing with us. I don't believe that we are going to be able to have a DJ since we will probably be in a dining room. Not sure though. I would love to the pictures after your wedding or if anyone else that has gotten married on the Liberty.

i would also like to see any pics of liberty brides....i'm just curious if people to all the "traditional" wedding things...we don't want to toss flowers or garter but figured we'd do a dance with a dj

We didn't get married on your ship. However we did have a DJ at our ship wedding. And yes we brought a cd along and he was great about playing our songs.

 

Just make sure you know which tracks are what songs, it makes things easier.

We actually did tons of stuff in our 1 hour reception.

We did a first dance, a father/daughter dance, a mother/son dance, cake cutting, a toast, and some other general dancing.

I was married on the Carnival Conquest a couple of weeks ago. We had a DJ and brought a CD with two songs that were special to us. He played the first dance song and threw the other one in later in the reception. Everything was wonderful.
