thepasta Posted October 6, 2006 #1 Share Posted October 6, 2006 Hello Everyone, I returned from my cruise (on the explorer) last month and realized I left the C&A postcards they give you in the room. Does anyone have these scanned in online, or can scan them in?? A friend of mine likes postcards and was going to give them to him. So he said he'd take a printout for now till I go again. Guess I'll have to book another :) Thanks in advance! Mike Pasta
chelsea_gal Posted October 10, 2006 #2 Share Posted October 10, 2006 Yep I think I am pretty sure that I packed mine up from our recent Mariner of the seas trip. Just got back .... so still unpacking.... I will dig them out tomorrow and start scanning them, pop me a note with your email address and we can make arrangements for getting them to you. I can either scan them or take a digital picture of them which do you prefer? Cheers

LittleBit Posted October 11, 2006 #6 Share Posted October 11, 2006 I know this might be a little OT, but BEFORE you throw out stuff (postcards, travel/hotel size toiletries, etc.)- check to see if a women/children 's center near you can use them. I just delivered 3 boxes of clothes and all sorts of little chachki (sp?) things to our local Homefront - the clothes are always needed, but they use the little things (fancy soaps, travel postcards, picture frames, etc) as prizes and incentives (i.e. who kept their room neatest all week, who participated in special family building or education building workshops). Postcards make great pictures for the wall (beside being used for the obvious) but can also be used as a teaching aid. I was raised with an ethic of in this world where so many want, don't waste anything, so I get cranky when I see how much we all waste instead of passiang on to others. Off my soapbox now, please resume your regularly scheduled life.
