Room category question

Hey all! I was talking with my hubby today about our rooms for the 10/15 sailing of the Valor...he told me that when we booked the cruise, we were at category 4C and have been upgraded to 4A, but it doesn't seem to have changed the room assignment (we're in 6322) at all. What does the category change mean, if anything????

You have it backwards. 4A was original room (on deck 1) and you've been upgraded to a 4C (deck 6). Room is the same but you are now 5 decks higher.

K...different than what he said...I haven't been involved with the planning of the rooms at all - it's the in-laws anniversary cruise so they've done it all. I never knew we'd been anywhere else till today anyway :) TY
