difference in decks ????

Carnival would think so, that is why they charge more for an identical room on a higher deck, I don't think it matters all that much. It may to you if you don't like using the stairs, we love the stairs for excercise.

 

Only you would know if the extra money to upgrade is worth it, for 10 or 20 dollars per person sure, anymore, not really. There are many people that swear by the Riv deck, closer to the water to watch it and any ocean life... quieter, less traffic, less motion in rough seas...
