Sapphire Beach Restaurant Reopening

The following is a quote from an email I received from Godfrey Tours

today (10/12/06). I had sent Godfrey an email asking the current restroom and restaurant situation on Sapphire beach. We will be there in November and I wanted to know the status before I booked anything. This is the response I received:

"the restrooms are open at sapphire beach but the restauants which was close will REOPEN on Nov.

15,2006. the hotel never close down."

Please verify before your particular travel date, but I just wanted to share this current information.

Thanks MaureenR for the update. My DH and myself are going to St. Thomas in January and wanted to spend the day at Sapphire. We were there for just a couple of hours in 2004 and loved it! As we were with a group, some wanted to tour the island and then go shopping so we had to cut our beach time short.

Unfortunately... that is too late for us. We are there the week of November 5th. Have to pick some other beach. Oh well, life is rough.
