DonnaKSMJ Posted October 15, 2006 #1 Share Posted October 15, 2006 What's the easiest way for 3 adults and 4 kids to get to a nice beach? Do you think Cas Abou would be a good decision?
Arubalisa Posted October 20, 2006 #2 Share Posted October 20, 2006 I too am going to jump on this thread. We have 5 adults and 4 kids. Where and how to get there and how much to get there? Ideally would like chaises and a little shade...Need something relatively inexpensive ;)
gizmo Posted October 22, 2006 #3 Share Posted October 22, 2006 I haven't been to a beach on Curaco yet, but I have done a lot of research for my Dec cruise. Most of the beaches charge, but it is only a couple of bucks. Something like 2.00 to 4.00. You can rent chairs. Most have places to eat and rest rooms. The closest beaches are probably Mambo, Kontiki, and Seaquarim. They are all in the same strip. I can't remember what I found on cab fare to these beaches but it was very reasonable, somewhere around 6.00 to 10.00. Here are links to beaches on Curaco. http://www.curacao-travelguide.com/beaches/index.html http://curacao.com/ActivitiesEvents/Beaches.aspx This one was recommended on another thread but the cab fare was high since it is no where near where the ship docks. http://www.playaportomari.com/ You may want to consider renting a car if you decide on Porto Mari.
