Thank you for your reply... Texas Holdem is REAL big in our area right now...Pittsburgh, Pa .... They are having a lot of fundraisers with this card game now... My sons have gotten into playing and were wondering if people played on the ship...Ok thank you again .... Shirl

I recently asked the same question ...but,I guess since you aren't playing against the dealer there is no way for them to make money....Anyone going on the Legend Oct 6th ...up for a game ??? Let us know :)Bonnie and Paul

There are several Native American casinos within 100 miles of our home and all of them now host Texas Hold'em games on a regular basis. Not sure how they make their money on the games, but I will try to find out from a friend who plays and let you know. I believe with the popularity of the game it is only a matter of time before the cruise ships will be hosting regular games.

A private game of poker would be in order, Cappy

But first things first!

The way that a casino makes money on the Hold-em games it that they take a few dollars of each pot and the dealer gets tips from the winner of each hand. The casino makes very little from the game but it does get alot of people in the doors.
