JellyFish at Megan's Bay

Last year in October we ran into many JellyFish at Megan's Bay. We'll be there again next month. Has anyone come back recently? Were there

any jellyfish? It really spoiled our day there there were do many.

We were there last year too, in November...and the jelly fish seemd to be taking over !!!

It was not a pleasant experience...

Quite a waste of a day to head over to a really nice beach like Megan's and have to spend most of the time up on the sand...

Hello,

The jellyfish are actually fairly annual in their around Fall visit, coming inshore for several weeks. Some beaches get them and others don't. Magens Bay usually does; some years more than others. There were a few this year around late August and then they went away. Haven't seen or heard of any there in the past few weeks, hopefully that remains the case when you get here.
