The Islander Posted October 22, 2006 #3 Share Posted October 22, 2006 Hello, Most of the Carnival ships dock in Havensight. To catch public transportation or the dollar rides you would need to walk outside of the cruise ship dock/shopping area to the main road and to the nearest bus stop which is a few minutes walk away from the dock area. The buses and dollar rides follow the main road so when you get to Smith Bay/entrance to Coki Point you'd need to walk from the main road to the beach (about half a mile). --Islander *****
Suesan Jean Posted October 25, 2006 #4 Share Posted October 25, 2006 I was just at Coki Beach on October 9th.:) We got off the ship, got a cab, (they wait for the cabs to be full, so, we waited about 10 minutes to leave the dock area). It was an open air cab/truck. $9.00 a person to Coki. We were dropped off right at the beach, I don't know the name of that entry, but, it was RIGHT NEXT TO Coral World. There was NO fee to enter the beach, a chaise was $5.00, a can of cold soda was $1.25. There were junk shops, snorkel rentals and classes. The rest rooms were filthy at that part of the beach, but, Coral World was just a few steps away and you can use their rest rooms for a couple of dollars. The beach was VERY LOVELY and TRULY EXCELLENT SNORKLING...!!! Snorkel by the rocks where Coral World ends, it is AMAZING...!!! Bring from home some JUMBO DOG BONES or for a few dollars you can buy some. THE FISH GO INSANE.....!!!!:D
