Hi there

First time cruiser from England here. I really would appreciate your expert advice on cabin selection. I have the choice of a family oceanview on deck 7 (7004/7504) or deck 8 (8002/8500/8502) or an E1 on deck 7 (7518/7662) or deck 9 (9002/9010/9500). Would the extra space in a family cabin be better than the balcony? The ship is Radiance of the Seas. Any comments appreciated.

Sometimes these families suite will cost an extra lot more money then if you got a balcony cabin and an inside cabin across the hall for the rest of the people.

You didnt state how many in your party.

These cabins are located ont eh very front of the ship. If youhit rough waters you will feel the motion.

You also want to stay low. the higher you go the moe motion you could feel.

Keep your cabins between decks of cabin space and away from public areas.

It appears that you are traveling with only 3 people as 7518 only sleeps three. Can you get the FOV for 3? I think the E1 is rather small for 3 but if one is a child it would be doable. DH always prefers the extra room so we booK JS. If the JS is the same or less than an FOV that's what I'd book. More room and noone across the hall and paying 200% for a half empty cabin. Also 2 cruise credits.
