LOTS of Cruise Ships in Port on the Same Day

I'll be in Grand Cayman on a HAL cruise in early January. According to the Grand Cayman Port site, there will be SEVEN or EIGHT!! ships there at the same time.

Are we better off:

1) staying on the boat, and letting everyone else just "have it".

2) booking an organized tour (so we don't have to fight to go somewhere).

OR

3) just walking around with 25,000 other people there at the same time.

All advice and comments would be most appreciated!;)

There's already another thread on this subject. When we are in the Western Caribbean in December there are 7 and 8 ships in the ports. Both are tender ports. We intend to stay on the ship and enjoy the quiet surroundings rather than fight the crowds onshore.
