Air Fare Question - Do you Do It or Let the Cruise Lines do it?

Recommended Posts

We have a great TA that we use, so she prices it with and without airfare.

Our 2 cruises have also been in January and snow is a factor, so we've booked our own because we've flown in the day before (RCCL charges extra for flying in day before).

The first cruise, we were expecting snow the day of our flight and the airline worked with us on getting alternate seats on an earlier flight due to the weather threat...good thing because we were the only flight out that day and the next morning. So we would have missed our cruise if not.

Next cruise we get to drive to the port, so looking forward to not having to worry about flights:)
