Auto Tip Breakdown

Can somebody please give me a detailed breakdown of the auto tipping? For instance, I read that $3.50 is for hotel staff and $6.50 is for food service. Is there a further breakdown of this? Also, if possible, the reference to the included information. I strongly believe in the auto tip policy, I just have travel buddies who need to be encouraged that it is necessary.

I'm curious too. I expect they use this as a way to give more money to the management of both groups and less to those who clean the rooms and serve the food?

I think its $3.50 for your cabin steward, $3.50 for your waiter, $2.50 for your assistant waiter and $0.50 for the head waiter.
