FLL hotels that offer "day rates"???

Looking to see if anyone knows of any FLL hotels that offer "day rates", so we can hang out there for a while before catching our 4:30 flight home? I had one booked for MIA (Hilton, 10-5 for $100), but now we're looking to fly in/out of FLL instead. Anyone?

Marriott Harbor Beach Resort has a day rate. You don't actually get a room but you can leave your luggage with the bell staff and have full use of their facilities for the day. That would include towels, showers etc.

Is there some sort of special name for that package/amenity I need to ask for? I just called them and they said I'd have to book a treatment in the spa or pay for a full night at the hotel to have any use of their facilities.:confused: Thanks.

Bummer...I wonder if it's only for local residents, I never asked. When we stayed there this past summer they had little signs in the lobby and pool area promoting the day use of the facility.
