America Regatta/to Orient Beach..

Would anyone know how long it would take to get from the America Cup Regatta excursion to Orient Beach? (clothing optional side :) ). The excursion ends at 12:30 and we will be in port until 6:00 p.m. Would there be taxis from the Regatta? Thanks!

The excursion will end at their shop on the pier at Phillipsburg; you could take a taxi from there over to Orient. You can ask the people there if you have enough time to go over to Orient- they will let you know. You many have to walk a few blocks to pick a taxi up.

You will certainly have plenty of time to experience Orient if your 12 Metre Experience ends at 12:30. Travel time would be approximately 30 minutes or less.

 

You can simply ask 12 Metre to call for a cab on your return, or even (I'll bet) ask them before the sailing to have a cab standing by on your anticipated return. Do allow for some time in the gift shop, though.

 

The 12 Metre Crew is a great bunch of folks. If Kathy is working there, say hello from us.
