Ship time versus PV local time

For anyone who has been on the Pride, can you tell me if there is a difference of time from ship time to the local time at Puerto Vallarta?

We are going on a tour (not carnival) leaving 9.25 am and we dock at 8 am. Is that really 9 am local time or am I just confused. Will we get off the ship in time if it is 9 am local time? We would hate to miss the pick up.:(

As I recall, there is a hour difference between PV and Ships time. I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but as I recall the ship stayed on Cali time. Port time was a hour later. I missed a port trip, (not booked with CCL)

and lost my money. THe printed scheduled times in port are ships time not

shore time. Enjoy the Pride, She's one of my favorites!

if the ship does not turn the clocks back and for some reason most ships DONT while in pv --- then you are correct the local time is 9 when you get off the ship
