Mobay excursion...what to do in the afternoon?

My husband and I are going on the Canopy Tour in the morning and get back to the pier at 1:30...I was wondering if there's anything near the pier that would be good to go to. Are there any beaches near by?

theres shopping at the pier. but nothing else really near by...

 

if you want to get some good things. check out the craft market, theres great deals there... you will have to take a taxi there..i cant remember how far it was , but it didnt seem like more than a few minutes....
