Music in your cabin?

Are there any rules for using an Ipod with a small speaker system to play music in your cabin. Are there even outlets in the cabin one can plug into? I would of course keep the music soft, but didn't know if any Bad Eggs had ruined it for everyone else. :cool:

We brought a MP3 player with mini speakers and didn't have any problems. Of course we kept the volume down.:)

Like most everything else, it boils down to respect for your fellow cruisers. If you keep it at reasonable levels, no one is going to say a thing. Actually, your neighbors probably won't hear a thing.

 

In most cabins, there is but one plug in the cabin and one in the bathroom. You will want to bring a power strip if you plan to play it while recharging batteries for the camera, etc.

I always take mine but I keep it at a level where only the folks in my cabin can hear. I never travel without my little speakers!

We made video tapes off of the music channels on tv, then played them on the tv/vcr that is in the room. Then we didn't have to pack as much. Just an idea.

When we travel alone (no kids), we just put up with the music channels they offer in cabin, through the TV. Our kids (both teens) bring along their Ipods and, thankfully, earphones.

Last year before our cruise we bought a I-pod and a speaker set at Circuit City it was great! We took it on our cruise last year and can't wait to take with us again next month ! Take yours and have a great time on your next cruise :)
