lookingforward Posted November 12, 2006 #1 Share Posted November 12, 2006 I just wanted to say thanks to all you Carnival experts out there. I booked an inexpensive getaway for my family of five on 1/1/07 on the Elation. I thought I got a wonderful deal. BUT, I learned on these boards that after final payment you can still get on board credits if the prices go down. Well, they offered an amazing military rate on Veterans day. My husband was in the military for a longgg time and we qualified. I called today and upgraded our inside room to an outside room next to our second room AND got a $225 onboard credit. THANKS!!! Beth Posted November 13, 2006 #3 Share Posted November 13, 2006 How do you find out the military price to check if cruise is less then when you booked? I hate the thought of calling my PVp every week to check. Thanks for any info. Beth

Beth There are websites you can check, but we can't list those websites here... you could always ask your PVP to let you know if the price drops... Cruzman Posted November 13, 2006 #7 Share Posted November 13, 2006 Military discount is the biggest discount that Carnival gives. It is the same discount that Carnival employees get.
