what to do ship dock from 9 til 2 pm?

When you get off the ship just walk to the left along the waters edge. It's a short walk to the shopping area. Very quaint with chickens running around. :D

 

There were also transport vehicles outside the gate that would drive you around the island. When we were there a couple years ago they had a musician playing for us as we got off the ship.

Could take a tour of the island or just go to Cane Garden Bay. Bring your bathing things and enjoy!

What is the cheapest way to get to Cane Garden Bay? How long does it take to get there? What is there to do there? Any fees involved? We are a family of 3....me, DH and DS (5). Thank you in advance for any help you provide.:cool:

Take a taxi to Cane Garden Bay. It was $6 per person each way in Feb. It's a popular beach so there were cabs waiting to take us back to the ship. There are some good restaurant-snack bars too.

Take the ferry to Virgin Gorda. You have lots of time.

 

Not only is the ferry fun (sit up top), you will rank The Baths at Virgin Gorda as one of your all-time top beaches. The water is crystal clear and the caves are fun to explore. Great family spot. Nice sand. Good snorkeling.

What a great review and lots of info. I am assuming that we will dock at Grand Turk, Tortola and St Thomas instead of tendering. I hate tendering in! Please let me know for sure. I will definately try to visit some of the places you suggested. Thanks again!
