I gave away my favorite brown sweater!

I have started packing (yes, I know it is 30 days away) and was planning on wearing my favorite brown sweater for embarkation. It is gone. We have looked hither and yon for it and it hasn't shown up. So, I guess I gave it away when I cleaned out my closet last year. I am so upset that I sat in front of my closet for 15 minutes and cried. Yes, I know that is silly, but it really was my only sweater and the only thing I had that didn't make me look teachery. AARGH! I hate when I do stupid things!

I am famous in my family for losing things. I thought I had lost a shirt that I loved. Took me three "hunts" and I found it, sandwiched between other shirts.

 

If you are like me, look again. You may find it.

 

If not, sorry, that is very frustrating when you can't find something you really want.

I know how you feel. I am kicking myself right now that it is getting cold that I gave away all my colored sweaters. I am so sick of neutrals!

 

Hopefully it is just misplaced...

You didn't happen to take it to the cleaners and forget to pick it up, did you? I've done that . . . especially at the end of the season when I wouldn't be wearing it again until the next year.

Ladycaveat, it's not at the dry cleaner. I teach school so I don't own anything that is dry cleanable. I keep thinking of places it might be and it is not there.
