scsagh Posted November 21, 2006 #1 Share Posted November 21, 2006 My husband and kids want to know if there is a soft serve ice cream machine on the PoAM? I did read that you can get a shake at the Cadillac, but wondered if there was ice cream free throughout the day or evening. They were spoiled by the 24 hour machine on Carnival. Also does anyone have any experience with the pre-teen and teen kids clubs? Have an 11 and 15 year old. Thanks for any input! :)
monobrow1 Posted November 22, 2006 #2 Share Posted November 22, 2006 Hi there I was on POAM in MAy 06 for my honeymoon fairly sure there was ice cream available during the day. No info on kids activities; what time of year are you going?
electricron Posted November 22, 2006 #3 Share Posted November 22, 2006 There will be ice cream available, but it's usually not soft serve on NCL ships. But the Pride of America may be different.
missjanet Posted November 22, 2006 #4 Share Posted November 22, 2006 I was on the Pride of America last year. I believe there was a soft serve machine available 24 hours a day where the buffet was served. I don't know if that's still the case, but we used it a lot to make sundaes. scsagh Posted November 22, 2006 Author #6 Share Posted November 22, 2006 Thanks all for the ice cream answers. My family will be thrilled! :D Now my 11 yr old is asking if there is still a bungee trampoline? Saw it in a brochure, but didn't see anything on it in another spot. Also, what is the gyroscope like? Does NCL charge extra for either of these? Can't wait til Mar. 31! Thanks for all of the great info. We have cruised before, but our first time with NCL and also to Hawaii.
